Crafty Charity Fundraisers

1st July 2025

We are incredibly proud of some Year 5 pupils who have truly embodied our school’s Christian values through their creativity, compassion, and commitment to serving others. These enterprising girls have been busy designing and selling handmade items to raise money for charity.

Through their efforts this year, they have raised an amazing £135.85 for CHAT, a local charity in Tiverton supporting people facing housing difficulties. In addition, £73 has been donated to Bounce, a Tiverton-based organisation offering specialist mental health support for children, young people, and their families. Another group also raised £31.50 for Bounce, showing how kindness and teamwork can multiply impact.

This initiative is a wonderful example of how our pupils are living out the value of service, actively making a difference in their community and showing that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents, carers, and friends who have supported the girls by purchasing their creations and donating to these important causes. We’re hopeful that the after-school sale will add even more to their fantastic fundraising total!

Well done girls—you are an inspiration to us all!
