Welcome from Miss Price
May I extend a very warm welcome to our website.
Here at Sampford Peverell C of E Primary School we value the talents of every individual. We nurture a strength of character in all our pupils. We provide a curriculum which is challenging, develops skills and builds learning power. This encourages an aspirational climate which enables all children to enjoy learning and achieve their potential; preparing them to live happy and fulfilled lives.
Our children have the benefits of a friendly, small school atmosphere while not being limited in any way. We strive to encourage a family feel across our whole school community. We aim for every pupil to leave the school healthy, confident and respectful individuals who will have experienced a growing range of responsibilities as they move through the school: Nurturing for success!
If you are interested in your child joining the school, there is no substitute for coming to visit us to feel the positive, calm, learning-focused atmosphere.
We hope that your association with the school is a long and happy one.
Miss Sarah Price

Urgent update following the Government announcement 4/1/21
By now you will be aware that the government has made a decision to close all schools, to most pupils, until February half term.
Tomorrow, TUESDAY 5th JANUARY, the school will be CLOSED TO ALL PUPILS, to allow us one day to make the necessary emergency arrangements to welcome vulnerable children (those with an EHCP or a social worker) and those of critical workers, back to school on Wednesday 6 January 2021.
If you are a critical worker, on shift on Tuesday 5 January 2021, during the school day, and unable to make any childcare arrangements, or you are unable to keep your child safe at home tomorrow, please contact email@example.com urgently.
Please be aware that childcare will provided by teaching assistants only where parents can demonstrate that there is an absolutely critical need of childcare. These children will be in the care of our Teaching Assistants, while our Teachers plan for longer term remote learning.
We will be communicating via a survey with all parents tomorrow, to identify critical workers. Please can we ask that you do not make contact with the school, in the meantime, unless it is absolutely necessary.
Further information will be sent in relation to our remote learning provision.
