Mr Gary Chown
Mr Gary Chown is also Chair of the Devon Association for Primary
Headteachers.

Mr Chown organises the annual cross-country event ‘The Wilcombe
Wobbler’. Over 250 children from all primary schools in Tiverton’s
learning community participate.

Miss Louise Jones - Foundation Stage Teacher
Miss Louise Jones is our Foundation Stage, PE and ICT Coordinator. She also runs the Fun and Games Club, Girls’ Football and Water Polo club.

Miss Jones is a keen footballer and plays for Exmouth Football
Club.

Mrs Kay Rosier - Class Two Teacher
Mrs Rosier is our Maths Co-ordinator. She also runs our Netball
club. She teaches Class 2 for 3 days a week.

Mrs Rosier teaches at a Special Needs school for the remaining
days a week.

Mrs Sally Moore - Class 2 and Class 3 Teacher
Mrs Moore is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. She also runs our Country Dancing Club. She teaches Class 2 for 2 days and Class 3 for 1 day a week.

Mrs Moore runs with the Women’s Running Network and helps
organise the Uffculme challenge and other cross country events
for the school.

Mr Owen Wilder — Senior and Class 3 Teacher
Mr Wilder is our Maths, Gifted and Talented and Science Coordinator. Mr Wilder is also our Acting Head on the days when the Head is not present at school. He runs the football, Magic and Animation clubs.

Mr Wilder leads the School Council and is the Eco representative for the school. He also oversees the Healthy Tuckshop which is run by the Year 6 children.

Mrs Judith Thurgood - Senior and Class 4 Teacher
Mrs Thurgood is the English, French and Music Co-ordinator. She is also acting Head when the Head is not present at school. She teaches Class 4 for 3 days a week.

Mrs Thurgood organises the annual music concert and other musical events throughout the school year.

Mrs Catherine Gill - Class 4 Teacher
Mrs Gill has only recently joined the school. She teaches Class 4 for 2 days a week.

Mrs Lorna Davey - Class 1 and Class 4 Learning Support Assistant
Mrs Davey is a trained Peer Mediator and is also the Clerk to the Governors for the school.

Mrs Marrilyn Hawkins - Class 2 and Class 3 Learning Support Assistant
Mrs Hawkins is the School Librarian.
